6:30am Breakfast: A delicious hot breakfast will be

7:30am Departure:
The first group will leave with the other groups following at 10 minute
intervals. The ride will be 23 miles long until the next campsite. First the
trail climbs up and away from the Hole-in-the-Wall. There is a lot of wildlife
to be seen as well as the “Red Wall”, a Chugwater formation, which runs 30 miles
to the north and south. This trail was the only access through the “Red Wall”
and that is why it became known as the “hole” by the Wild Bunch Gang and is
still referred to today as Hole-in-the-Wall. The ride passes through three
Wyoming counties; Johnson, Washakie, and Natrona. You will see the Bar C
Corrals, a stopping point for sheepmen moving their herds to the high mountain
country. At one time over one million sheep were moved over these trails. Monday
night’s campsite is located at the “Graves”. The name originated when a fight
there led to the murder of a sheepherder by a wagon tender. Upon arrival in
camp, tend to your horse, set up tents, and prepare for
supper.
